The Healing Hearts of Rutherford is very important to me. I truly believe that it is our duty to help each other. Facilitating the healing process of victims of violence and abuse is my goal.

Involvement with Healing Hearts of Rutherford began when we were organizing a fundraiser for my niece who was brutally attacked in front of her home and needed multiple surgeries.
Our mission going forward is to raise awareness for other similar incidents that occur in our town, and provide whatever assistance we can offer.

As the neighbor of someone who was a victim of violence and as a writer for the ThisisRutherford.com, I felt that I needed to find ways to help her and the greater community that will benefit from the efforts of HHR. 
As a community, we should take care of one another and this is one way to do so.

Healing Hearts Team Member Since 2018 and an active and strong supporter of activities in my home town of Rutherford.
Originally I became a member of HHR because a dear friend's daughter was attacked in Rutherford and I wanted to help this organization to help others become aware of the support they have from this group and fellow members.

I’ve been involved in various community programs in Rutherford. Community service is important to me. Taking part and volunteering teaches compassion and understanding. There are many people who need our help. I want to be able to give back to those in need.
